If you believe homosexuality is a sin, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone [...]”

Same-sex marriage should be legalized because everyone should have the right to marry whomever they wish regardless of sexual orientation. Some argue that homosexuality is a sin, however, divorce is also something the Bible calls a sin and the divorce rates in the U.S. now are at 50%. There are several things that the Bible calls sin, such as eating the flesh of the pig, but most people still do these things. Jesus taught in the New Testament to love and accept everyone no matter the sins they have committed. There is a story in John 8:1-11 of a woman who committed adultery who was brought before Jesus. The men who brought her demanded that she be stoned for breaking one of the Commandments. Jesus ignored them and when the men continued to question him Jesus said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
