Did the U.S. make the correct decision in using nuclear bombs on Japan in WWII? Why yes in fact they did!

I strongly believe that bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII was the correct decision for the Americans to make. It was estimated to lead to fewer casualties on both the U.S. and the Japanese sides. It also provided a quick and easy way to finish the long and draining war. The other alternative was to invade Japan’s mainland. This would have been very costly in both casualties and money. If the U.S. invaded they would have had to make and send tanks, airplanes, soldiers, food, and other equipment. This would have been extremely expensive compared to sending one airplane with two bombs. The bombing ultimately resulted in the stubborn Japanese’s surrender. If the bombing did not occur, who knows how long the war would have lasted. Overall the bombings were less risky, less costly, and more efficient than any other options the Americans had left.
