I chose to analyze www.stopglobalwarming.org. Its main purpose is to spread the word of the possible outcomes that may occur because of global warming, and to convince people in taking part in anti-global warming activities. It uses many different tactics in order to do so.
I chose this site because I am not sure whether global warming is an actual threat or a scam for attention. After I looked through the site several times, I could see that they were using several apparent strategies of persuasion. Therefore, since I was integrested in the topic and it was chock full of persuasion, it was an easy selection for my paper.
