Megan's Rhetorical Analysis :))))

The reason why I choose to write about this topic was because I feel like the media and the way women are portrayed by society is getting out of hand. Women and high fashion in general should accept all types of body types as beautiful. Some models even go to extreme lengths and become anorexic and bulimic just to be accepted as "beautiful" in the fashion industry. If a person cannot fit into a size 0 or 2 they do not stand a chance in making it as a top model.
I strongly believe that people can be models and looked at as beautiful even if they don't fit into those unrealistic sizes. I think that fashion needs to be kept realistically, and the women that can be healthy and take a picture without photoshop are the ones that need to be credited as the models. They are the ones who should represent what beauty is.

  1. Okay, but remember you are writing a rhetorical analysis, not your own argument about how media portray women. Focus on how this author tries to persuade you.
